What is a Right Isosceles Triangle?

A triangle with two equal sides and a 90° angle between them. The other two angles are each 45°. The ratio of sides is 1 : 1 : √2.

S (넓이) = a² / 4

a = 2h

b = a / √2

S = a² / 4

a = √2 × b

h = b / √2

S = b² / 2

a = 2√S

h = √S

b = √(2S)
