What is Car Tax in Korea?
Car tax (์๋์ฐจ์ธ) is a local tax paid twice yearly (June & December) based on engine displacement.
From the 3rd year onwards, the tax is reduced by 5% per year, up to a maximum of 50%. Local education tax (30%) is added.
